Green Bean Casserole problems, diagnosed

Check the mushrooms, beans and sauce before blaming the oven. Green bean casserole stays creamy when mushroom liquid is cooked off, blanched beans are drained well and the flour-based sauce is thickened before assembly. If those wet components go into the baking dish loose, the oven may not remove enough water before the casserole is hot.
