Method

Prepare
Preheat the oven to 375°F / 190°C and line or grease a 12-cup muffin pan.
Mix separately
Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in one bowl. Whisk sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla and sour cream in another.
Combine gently
Fold dry into wet only until smooth, then fold in blueberries by hand.
Portion and bake
Divide among 12 cups and bake until golden and a center tester comes out clean, about 18 to 24 minutes.
Cool promptly
Remove muffins from the pan as soon as practical and cool on a rack.
